In the spring of 1998, five passionate guys—Jon Nordmark, Peter Cobb, Frank Steed, Andy Youngs and Eliot Cobb decided to start their own company. We never imagined selling over 29 million bags. On May 5, 2017, Samsonite International, the global leader in travel luggage, completed its acquisition of eBags.com, Inc. As a result of the acquisition, eBags is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsonite International!
