Uber organized professional travel backpack - Limited Lifetime Warranty* against defects in materials and workmanship. NOTE: This is not a small bag. The size of this travel backpack is similar to a wheeled carry-on. It measures 21" H x 14" W x 8" D
TSA recognized Travel Sentry Approved design fits laptops 2” x 12.5" W x 14" to 18” H and tablets 9” H x 10.5” W

Easily converts from backpack to briefcase and includes vertical and horizontal luggage handle pass-thru panels
Well-padded vented Airmesh back panel and contoured backpack straps with removable adjustable shock-load sternum strap
True to the Professional series, there are a number of innovative interior features:
On the forward section, a large U-zip opening makes it easy to pack clothing or a packing cube. Zip the cover closed and you have a Travel Sentry Approved, Checkpoint Friendly bag ready for the TSA X-ray machine
The clothing compartment measures 3-1/2” x 13-1/4” x 20” - it's designed for 1-2 day trips. This section can be over-stuffed when needed.
Lockable double-zip access to the middle compartment provides complete access to the packing area. Unzip the rear section for additional packing space
Easy laptop access via our “L”-zip opening. A neoprene panel snugs the laptop to the back - fits laptops as large as 2” thick x 12.5" W x 14" H (18" high with the AC Adapter Garage removed)
The laptop compartment is fully padded on five sides, lockable, and completely isolated from the packing area of the pack
NOTE: If you plan on using the TSA Checkpoint Friendly feature, you must follow the packing instructions provided. Only your laptop can be stored in the rear compartment. That’s why we made the clothing section extra-flexible to allow for over-stuffing
An organizer that keeps you organized. We’ve eliminated any chance of stuff piling up at the bottom of the compartment by creating a 2-dimensional workspace free of clutter. The front organizer panel includes:
Three zippered “See What’s Where” mesh pockets and two zippered fabric pockets (one includes our key leash)
Two business card pockets, two elastic pen loops, and one elastic-trimmed pouch pocket
The lower front zippered compartment is designed for your liquids or other last minute items. We’ve also included a TSA-compliant zippered pouch for your 3-1-1 items
Just above the organizer panel is a lockable 9-1/2” wide zipper opening providing access to either your tablet (up to 9” H x 10-1/2” W) or the clothing compartment. The tablet stows directly behind the organizer panel
Our crush-proof AC-Adapter garage isolates heavy (or fragile) accessories from the rest of the pack. It is positioned at the bottom of the back panel for optimum load balancing - the Airmesh padded cover also provides lumbar padding
The AC-Adapter garage is removable for those times when you need extra storage capacity or have an extra-tall laptop
High-visibility 210D orange nylon lining makes finding your stuff a lot easier
Exterior features are as follows:
Zippered side-mounted water bottle pocket
Vertical zippered “Napoleon” pocket on the face is perfect for boarding passes and is designed with YKK lockable apparel zippers to ensure they will not “walk open”
Premium self-repairing YKK RC zippers use lockable double sliders on almost all openings - lockable double-zip closure includes discrete photo-reflective zipper cords for nighttime safety
Lockable D-rings on primary zippers discourage tampering and keep luggage locks in a consistent location
840 x 900D Twisted Filament Polyester exterior with DuPont Teflon fabric protection
Convertible design enables it to be comfortably carried as a backpack, briefcase or across the body:
The Airmesh back panel is fully vented and well-padded in all the right places
Contoured backpack straps are generously padded with Airmesh and includes an adjustable/removable shock-loaded sternum strap
Simply unclip the backpack straps and store then inside a zippered compartment to convert the backpack into a briefcase
Adjustable/removable shoulder strap enables you to carry it across your body or on your shoulder
Luggage trolley handle pass-through panel on the back allows you to stack the TLS Prof. Weekender on your favorite suitcase
Low profile top and side grab handles makes it easy to lift
Detailed Product Description
If you are looking for a hands-free professional laptop carry-on that breezes through TSA inspection and loves regional jets, your search is over. Is it possible to have a relationship with a bag? Our customers definitely think so. And they love to share their experiences with us. Some of that sharing was expressed in the form of our shortcomings. We take pride in being good listeners and this latest addition to the Professional family is proof. More capacity, hide-away backpack straps, not changing the super-cool most loved features and still keeping it super low-profile. We hope you have room in your heart for another great relationship. Enjoy! Bernard Majeau, Director, Product Development

"I was in the market for a new laptop backpack. My key parameters were that it be big enough to carry a change of clothes for overnight business trips and cost less the $150. After some research I purchased 3 bags from eBags: Dakine Gemini 28L, Timbuk2 Command and the eBags TLS Pro Weekender.
The Timbuk2 lacked sufficient organization. The Dakine was a close second with great looks and the best water bottle holders I've seen. But it lacked the ability to separate clothes from papers and the laptop. So I kept the TLS Pro. (most expensive of the 3 and just a penny less than my max price.)
The TLS Pro is built like a tank with top notch YKK zippers. It's a bit heavy at 3.5 pounds but feels light on the back.
The bag has excellent organization with padded areas for both a laptop and a tablet, a flat panel compartment with loads of zippered pockets for storing small items, a removable, zippered 3-1-1 pouch and a removable, crush-proof "AC Adapter Garage". I find it strange that eBags implies this is the place to store AC adapters. Of all the items I carry in my bag my AC adapters are probably the least in need of crush-proof protection. However it's perfect for my fragile items (sunglasses, prescription safety glasses, headphones and small laptop peripherals). The main compartment makes it easy to separate clothes from other items for overnight travel.
The backpack suspension is good and includes a sternum strap which is a must have for me. I also like that the backpack straps can be stowed for a professional, briefcase like appearance.
I only have two things that I would change to improve this bag: Add compression straps, either external or in the clothing area. Without these, clothes tend to slump to the bottom of the bag in a wrinkled mess. The other change is either eliminate or enlarge the ridiculously small and effectively useless zippered mesh water bottle holder.
Overall a great bag and as close to perfect (for me) as I've been able to find."

"I bought this bag looking for a bag that would allow me to use it daily during work and could be easily converted into a solid travel backpack since I fly internationally once to twice a year.
So here are my thoughts after the bags first international voyage.
Construction/ Appearance: A solid well constructed aerodynamic bag with nice clean lines and a very utilitarian bend to it. Well constructed with rugged solid material and appears rather durable. Nothing about the bag seems cheap. 5/5
Design: Well thought out for travel with the mutliple zippered pockets in the organizer, the front zip for a passport and the well sized well constructed laptop container. The hardshell charger pack in the back below the laptop is a good idea since it has good lumbar support and it takes away from less needed space in the laptop region- for me an improvement over the TLS Professional Slim. The TSA approved "split" the bag did was nice but only acceptable n the US. However there were two things that for me were less than ideal. The first was the tablet compartment which was separate in the Professional Slim, however now it's all in one big zip with the clothing section. That's a downside. The other downside for me was the single large pocket that functioned for both clothing and documents. Had it been separate it would have been ideal. Finally the waterbottle area is tiny- not at all able to take a normal water bottle. 3.5/5
Usability: This is an easy 5/5 which has to be given due to it's modularity and good separation of items other than the things I mentioned above. It also looks light even when rather full, and sits well on the shoulders with and without the sternum straps (though I prefer with). Other than that, the organizer is fantastic and helped a ton on trips and daily use, as was the zip for my passport. Clearly a lot of thought went into daily use and travel. 5/5.
So overall I'd give this bag a 4.5/5. Well worth the buy, would happily but it again."

"Love this backpack. I'm a corporate pilot and often find myself on trips lasting up to 2 weeks. I needed a laptop bag/briefcase/carry on large enough to carry all the essentials I need to take with me on trips. I used to carry the ubiquitous Tumi laptop bag, but found myself wanting a backpack for ease of carry. I tried a couple Maxpedition backpacks which were excellent quality, but a little too "tactical" and not enough "business attire." I often need to carry paperwork and need easy access to pull files in and out of the bag without them getting all destroyed. This bag is perfect for that function. I LOVE the cable/adapter caddy "hidden" in the back part of the bag and easy access to the included airline liquids pouch. The bag is large enough to carry all my crap, and everything is pretty easy to get to. My only complaint is that it's easy to forget how to get into which compartment on the inside. There are basically 3 main compartments inside and I'm always unzipping the wrong one. Maybe I'm just an idiot - hopefully I'll figure that out. Great build quality, I see myself using this bag for a long time."
