"This bag is so cute. It's perfect for a weekend at the beach. It's bigger inside than I thought it would be. Good for my phone, small wallet, and a couple pieces of makeup...
The product description does not tell you there are two waist straps stored in the back of this bag so you can use it as a fanny pack...
The shoulder strap is great and can be made very long to hang across your body leaving your arms free.
"I just bought this bag along with the joslyn tote for a vacation in June. I'm old enough to remember the 1990s fanny packs and let's face it- they're useful but hideous! This little bag is the perfect compromise. It's roomy for its size, super well made, has spaces for organization and looks so much better than a fanny pack. The best part is that if you use it as a shoulder bag you can always convert it to a waist pack if the need arises (carrying kids, too many shopping bags, crowded subway). I would suggest storing tevshoulder strap in the waist strap compartment when not in use to save space. I go to Disney often and this will be a life saver. I'm a little scared to test how waterproof it'll be on rides but that's going to get tested eventually and I'll post the results when it does. The best part is that's a nice bag for day, a fanny pack, and an organizer inside my big tote. Now all I need for a 10 day trip is a small evening clutch and I'm done packing! Kipling makes the best so you can be sure the quality is worth the price."
"This is exactly the size and shape bad I was looking for. It is small enough to not be a burden during a day of sightseeing, but large enough to hold passport, phone, camera, pages from a tour book, etc. It is also extremely lightweight. I will not be using it as a fannypack, so I cut off the fannypack straps to make it even more lightweight.
The only downside for me is that it's very casual in appearance with the bigger, chunky zippers and the crinkled fabric.
Overall though, I'm very excited to have found this bag."
