"I bought this tent because of the ratings, the weight, and the price. I am an avid outdoorsman and love to hike and hunt in the backcountry so I wanted a tent that seemed to fit the bill for my needs. I have used this tent on an overnighter in 0 degree weather and it kept the wind, snow, and chill out. It also breathes well with the multiple vents. I awoke and no build up condensation was in the tent like some other tents I have owned. It fits well in my pack. The poles are great. There is plenty of room in the tent for two. The two doors are great so you dont have to climb over the other person to get out when duty calls in the middle of the night. This tent seems as well built as some of the big name tents that are triple the cost. Yeah it weighs a little more but it doesnt break the bank. This tent is a steal. Mountainsmith hit a homerun with this tent."
"I'm a wildland firefighter and I use this tent on 2-3 week fire assignments. It is roomy enough for me and some of my gear. It has ample stow pockets and a mesh storage "attic". It is lightweight, sets up quickly, has good ventilation, is stable in wind, has a fly with excellent coverage, and has the best tent stakes I've ever seen supplied with a tent. Poles and tabs are color coded to aid in setup. It is an excellent value for the price.
My only two negatives/suggestions: the green color is a bit funky/bright. The zippers for exiting the doors and zipping covers over doors are easily confused. I'd suggest different color pulls to ease confusion.
