"I have used this low key bag on several trips, including two weeks in several Nordic countries. It works great as either a shoulder bag, carry bag or a backpack. Like any bag it gets heavy when filled, but what do you want? Stuff has weight and I chose to carry it instead of trying to draw it behind me. I can wear it on my back or over my shoulder while pulling my full size suitcase, which frees me to use my hands for other tasks, like lifting my large, heavy bag over curbs or cobblestones. Seriously, it's so much easier than trying to drag a wheeled carry on plus a suitcase. I can hook the carry grips over the pull handle on most suitcases, if the handle spacing isn't too wide. The bag fits in overhead bins on every airline I used, even the notoriously cramped short haul European ones. And after being tossed around, dragged and manhandled still looks new. If you want options while traveling, this is the bag for you. The downsides? The laptop and tablet pouches can be hard to access when the bag is full, as can the outside pocket. The net water bottle holders don't work very well. The shoulder strap is wide enough but could use a pad to ease cutting into your shoulder. I'd like to see a key holder strap in the smallest compartment. "

"Top quality bag, with good capacity (stows more than you expect). Good organizational capability, though the water bottle pockets on front mystify me. They're best used for a small Platypus, or for gloves/toboggan/etc. GREAT to not worry about newly restrictive size limits for international travel. And navigating planes, trains, and automobiles with a backpack, or using the shoulder strap, beats wheeled bags hands down!"

"This is a quality made, durable bag, that has a handful of dealbreakers depending on your travel style. The biggest issue is the visible size. While the dimensions technically fit most US airline carry-on regulations, once you go international and have to deal with weight regulations the "bulky" look makes it a target to be weighed. Carriers in Asia specifically have pretty low weight limits for carry-on, so unless you've packed it half-empty with only clothes, it will go over. Not the bags fault, but the shape isn't helping. There are also some small oddities. There are amazing handles on two sides. These things are strong and hold their shape, but they are only on the top and left side. If you are right shoulder dominant and take the bag off in the aisle of a plane, you'll have nothing to grab onto in order to quickly toss it in the overhead. There's also the issue of the green inside. While bright colors are useful for finding things, they couldn't have chosen an uglier green. Finally the mesh outer pockets are useless. They sit under compression straps, but the true issue is that when fully packed the bag doesn't have the give to allow anything (like a water bottle) to go into them. It may work for some, but if your goal is to travel carry-on only this bag likely won't work on budget or smaller airlines. You'll always need a second bag "just in case." "
