"Bought the duffel to take on a 3 week trip to HK, BKK, Bali & Cambodia and to meed the weight and size limits on international and Asian regional air requirements, and to maximize what I could carry. Security is an issue and all compartments can be locked to prevent stray hands looking. It holds a lot and I can organize it however I want. Just got back fm a dive trip to Mexico and all my gear and clothes and books fit easily and securely with room to spare and was well protected and under 23 kilos. North Face bags are worth the extra $ as they will hold up to travel and abuse. side and top handles are comfortable. Highly recommend for adventure travel or for hauling a bunch of stuff. Looking forward to many years of hard fun use."

"Overall great quality - it's a North Face - however after three weeks of international travel one of the plastic buckles broke - so sad this happened so soon after purchasing...what about that lifetime warranty -?"

"Great bag. I have alot of experience with wheeled luggage because I travel alot for work, however my experience is usually with 22 inch roller boards. The reason i chose this bag was because of the bomb proof handle and wheels, zipper are pretty good to. Those are usually the main failure points in wheeled luggage. Seriously, the handle seems like you could drag a car with it. They probably could have shaved off some weight there, but I appreciate the ruggedness. So far, the bag has been through a snowboarding trip and a music festival/camping trip without any issue. The nylon used seems kinda thin but the reinforcement stitchings are in all the right places. I also don't think I'd trade more durable fabric for the additional weight. The drop bottom design is awsome, so the bag will stand on it's own even when not filled. The only minor gripes I have is the lack of organization. I would have like some kind of compartment separators. I also wish the telespopic handle that had multiple positions. I'm 5¿" so a shorter setting would take more weight with the reduced angle when pulling. For what i paid for the bad I am thrilled with what I got. I got a discontinued color (brown) on sale for just over 2 bills."
