UNIQUE PRODUCT DIFFERENTIATORS TO TRAVEL EASIER & SAFER
Slash Resistent Shoulder Strap
Travelon's anti-theft bags are designed with armored slash-resistant straps to safeguard your personal items, so you can focus on your sightseeing or business priorities. It takes just a second for a determined robber to slash the strap of an ordinary bag or purse, driving or cycling away with speed, leaving the victim empty-handed. Such thieves meet their match when they attempt to slash the straps of Travelon's anti-theft shoulder bags as the design conceals stainless steel cables to deter slashing. Rest assured, it will be the thieves that leave empty-handed, not you, as the cable thwarts any attempt to slash it.
RFID Blocking Slots and Pockets
Imagine the stress and inconvenience if your credit card information was cloned and you had to organize replacements far from home. It could ruin a vacation or seriously disrupt a business trip. By carrying an affordable Travelon RFID blocking wallet, data skimming is one thing you will never have to worry about. Bank cards, passports and government-issued identity cards may be very high-tech, but so too is wireless identify theft. Card-skimming thieves carry concealed devices that can secretly collect and encode personal information via radio signals. Packed subways, busy markets and tourist hotspots are prime for digital pickpockets to saunter past, harvesting your personal data to clone your ID and bank cards without them ever leaving your wallet. The solution? Travelon's RFID blocking wallets, organizers and waist packs provide peace of mind and complete protection by preventing thieves from remotely "reading" your personal data.
Slash Resistent Mesh Body
As part of Travelon's thorough research into producing the ultimate anti-theft bags, we discovered that bag slashing is the #1 method that thieves use to rob unsuspecting travelers. Our innovative slash-resistant bags contain reinforced panels made from a flexible high-tech stainless steel mesh to counter any attempt at slashing. You won't feel it, and of course no-one would ever guess that such a stylish, well-organized bag could be so tough.
Locking Compartments and Straps
With over 3,000 pickpocket incidents every month in New York City alone*, any traveler would be foolish not to choose a stylish Travelon bag with secure locking compartments. Some of the world's most visited cities, including Barcelona, Rome and Paris, are awash with pickpockets, but you don't have to be a victim. Treat yourself (or someone you love) to a stylish Travelon anti-theft bag with its own pickpocket-proof locking compartments and you will never need to worry about this common crime.

"I love it. The stone is a nice neutral color. The bag is sturdy, well organized, with lots of pockets, including outside pockets on front and back, and a place for your water bottle (or two), on the sides. I purchase the bucket bag because of the safety and anti-theft features for upcoming travel out of the country. I was looking for a bag that would hold everything, and be durable, and I wasn't overly concerned with it being pretty. But this bag isn't ugly either. All the zippers, and the strap, have locking features, So securing it to your table while dining is a plus . Earlier posts commented on the mesh inside pockets snagging and tearing, and the front pocket, which is not zippered, being too shallow to put a phone in, without it falling out. I am happy to report that these issues have been resolved. My bag has no mesh pockets inside at all. All of the Interior pockets are the same fabric as the bag. There are two pockets on the outside front of the bag. One is zippered and the other is open and both are plenty deep enough for my Samsung oversized cell phone. There's another large zippered pocket on the outside back of the bag. My one recommendation would be that they make it just an inch wider across the top. The bottom of the bag is wider then the top zipper portion and I can't squeeze my older Samsung (larger) tablet inside the bag. An earlier post complained that the strap wasn't really long enough for a crossbody bag. I'm 5 foot 8 and I did not find that to be true, but it is an awkward configuration. It would be better if you could remove the strap all together, make it longer, and then reattach it. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and if they make it just a little bit bigger I would buy another one in black. Thanks Travelon!"

"My wife bought this bag in January for a trip to China in April/May. The lining started ripping along the inside credit card sleeves on the trip. When we returned, she mended it but put it away until our next trip in July.
During our most recent trip, both sides of the inner lining ripped out so badly that she had to buy another purse just to get home! This is very disappointing. She tried to contact Travelon during the trip but has not received a reply from her email."
"I am madly in love with this bag. I bought it for a trip to Washington, D.C. where I wanted a little extra protection against theft. I got a LOT of extra protection. The bag is just really smartly designed. The pockets are so thoughtfully placed and sized. Someone thought long and hard about how this bag was likely to be used. The fabric doesn't look or feel cheap but still seems to be super-durable. I wasn't so worried about RFID scans, but I loved the cut-purse protection, and being able to secure my purse to my chair in restaurants gave me a surprising amount of peace of mind. The size is perfect--it held a five-by-seven guidebook and small notebook in the main compartment, and I was still able to cram a raincoat in there (the raincoat is made of a poncho-like material, but much thicker; there is no lining in it). If you want to carry a sweater, you need a larger bag, but if you just want to carry your book, your notebook, a map, your id, cash, and credit cards, your migraine medication, your asthma inhaler, a few pens, a mini-bottle of hand sanitizer, and a bottle of water - and still have room to pull things out - then this bag is a great choice. I'd buy this brand again in a heartbeat."
"Love this purse! I took it on a two week tour of Italy and it has held all my essentials and kept them organized as well. The quality has been very good also. I haven't noticed any fraying seams ,etc. The water bottle/ umbrella pockets as well as the protected sleeves for passports and credit cards are favorite features."
"Well-designed bag. The pockets are well-placed, and it's the right size to fit all the stuff one typically needs in travel (the 1 quart Ziploc of lotion, hand sanitizer, etc.,very lightweight sweater, tissues, passport, credit cards, other travel papers and medications, pens, small notebook, cell phone. A kindle might even fit in there). The pockets on the end are well thought out and useful for water and glasses. The locking main compartment adds security for your belongings.
Now for the parts that could use improvement - I'd like to see the mesh pocket inside be changed to solid fabric. I hate mesh pockets! Stuff snags on the mesh all the time, not to mention that it is not as durable as that solid fabric (really great, smooth stuff!) that they used to line the inside of the bag. I'd like to see a lobster claw attached to one of the zipper pulls on the outside pocket. Some people may use it, some may not (manufacturer says it is for "quick grab items." I say, some quick grab items can be very valuable. They deserve a lock!), but it is good to have that option. My biggest beef with this bag is that the slash proof mesh comes only HALFWAY up the bag (confirmed this with Travelon customer rep over the phone). Why not extend it all the way up?!? WHile it is true that most slashers go for the bottom of the bag, I have seen bags slashed at the top, close to the zipper. It all depends on the situation, what you are doing (i.e. how distracted you are), what your position is and how the thief is positioned relative to you. It seems to me that if one is going to go to the trouble of putting in a mesh panel between layers in a bag, it does not cost that much more (probably nothing more!) to make the panel go all the way to the top. I posted these comments on the manufacturer website, so hopefully they will take them into account and redesign the bag.
Overall a nice travel bag. Would like more than one, but will wait to see if the manufacturer redesigns."

"I have been searching for a light weight bag that would accommodate all my stuff without bunching it up. I have found this bag to have just the right amount of pockets so I can find my stuff quickly. The shoulder strap can be adjusted so you can either sling the bag across your shoulder or you can lengthen it so you can wear it across your body. It's not a fancy designed bag but it's pretty enough so you can use it for most occasions. I have found all the ornaments on the fancier bags just adds bulk & weight. This is a sleek, comfortable bag that is great for everyday use."
"Finally found my perfect purse. I love Travelon anything, yet this purse however is what I searched forever for. I need cross-body because I have a bad back, and this puts absolutely no weight load on your back or shoulder, and I pack it full. I had another smaller one, but it had too many pockets and I just couldn't organize it to make it easy to find things. In this one, I can easily fit my Galaxy 4 in an Otter Box case (this makes it quite large) and I have an easy to grab spot for it. Then it has a very nice main compartment that easily fits my wallet, my "everything" bag, make up bag, eye glass case, and could still fit my Ipad if need be. It also has slots for credit cards, or notes, insurance cards, whatever you want them to be. I love the side zippable compartments for small odds and ends, or for a bottle of water. It has nice pockets inside a zipper compartment to hold hand sanitizer, lotion, or any other small, frequently used items. It has a great netted zipper pocket which I keep my meds holder in. Everything has a spot now, and the layout is so easy to remember which pocket has what. Compartments open wide, so easy to see and find your stuff. It all zips smoothly, no material is loose, so slides with ease. Great adjustable strap, material is easy to wipe and keep clean, does not collect pet hair or lint. It is by far my most favorite everyday purse I've ever owned, and that says a lot, I'm no spring chicken. If you are the type that loves to take everything but the kitchen sink with you, this is your purse! Yet it looks very nice, does not look over-sized, just an ingeniously designed purse that I will be forever with. Travelon products last, so this will be mine to enjoy for many years!"
"I bought this purse for a 2 week trip to China. The good news is that it is well designed and can hold a lot of stuff comfortably. In the main compartment, I put my point-and-shoot camera, my bulky DSLR camera, my Kindle and my large zip around wallet. In the front pocket, I put my phone, a small notebook and pen and in the back pocket I put small things like Kleenex, Tylenol, hand sanitizer, energy bars, medication, etc. The bad part is that the mesh pocket in the large compartment tore the first day of use and by the end of the first week, had torn clean away. It made getting things in and out of purse more difficult than it had to be. Also, the zipper got a bit kinked by the end of the second week. Overall, it was a great purse with a terrible mesh pocket."

"This is the bag that I should have bought before my trip to Europe. I had purchased the Travelon Anti-Theft Cross-Body Bag and it was too small. I ended up putting that bag inside my Ebags Kalya Town Square bag for the RFID protection. But as you can imagine this was not a convenient way to travel.
My new cross body bucket bag is the perfect size to use daily as well as for travel. I use a large Travelon RFID Blocking Purse Organizer in all of my bags. This bag holds that plus two cell phones, a tablet, tissues, lotion, keys, a small cosmetic case, a coin purse, a Travelon Safe ID Daisy Zip ID Pouch with my credit cards, my check book, glasses, and an umbrella. I keep the umbrella and glasses in the side mesh expansion pockets for easy access.
This bag appears to be very well made yet lightweight. The straps are sturdy and comfortable. I buy most of my bags for their looks. This one isn't the cutest most eye catching bag out there but it is attractive enough for everyday. I purchased it for it's anti-theft properties.
The only drawback I can possibly see is the mesh pocket inside. I like that I can see what is in there at a glance but I found that things can snag on it. It's only happened once. Other than that this is the perfect bag."
"I have two of the eBags Piazza cross-body and I LOVE them. I purchased this bag because of the color, not thinking I would like it as much as I do. It's a little roomier than the Piazza, and the pockets are a little different - it is a really great bag for travel and everyday. Some of the details are neat and unexpected (the tiny flashlight that is removable to change the battery, the key clip that hides right above a convenient pocket for your keys). The travel/safety features are great!"
