"I have flown around the world a few times (literally around the world) with flight legs as long as 16 1/2 hours followed by 8 hours followed by 2 hours in one stretch. This is hands down the single best thing I found to help me manage that kind of torture! It doesn't take up a lot of space and is extremely comfortable given the situation. I swear by this thing. It may not be cute but no travel pillow is. It is supportive and just plain works.
Compact, light weight, washable cover, comfortable, worth the price given how much sleep I have gotten with this thing.
I also use the Velcro to stick it to my seat when I get up to use the loo. That way it isn't rolling around on the dirty floor or mixed up in my blankets.
Don't waste your money with other pillows, seriously, because I've tried them all.

No more sore neck!
"I carpool to work and if I fall asleep, my neck flops around. I've tried the regular neck pillows but my neck is still sore after using it and then it's in the way of other passengers when I'm not using it. This Trtl pillow is nice and soft, comfortable and convenient. Best of all, it wraps up small so I can just throw it in my bag. I love it."

As a Flight Attendant, I can NOT recommend this.
"I bought this "pillow" on their website and am terribly disappointed. It is soft but that's the only positive thing I can say about it. There was no way to wrap it around without covering up my nose and mouth which was very uncomfortable. The plastic is flimsy and barely supported my head. I am a flight attendant and commute on airplanes every week. I was looking for something that didn't take up as much space as the traditional "u-shaped" pillows. Unfortunately this was a huge let down. Do not waste your money."

Favourite travel pillow thus far
"Unique travel pillow concept and one of the few which actually allowed me to sleep without an uncomfortable neck! As a bonus it keeps your neck warm. Downside is can be a little tight feeling when snug enough to provide head support and is larger than other inflatable travel pillows, but hung on outside of my bag easily."

"Nope. Not the most comfortable travel pillow. It was impossible for me to find a comfortable position to place this overpriced piece of fleece-covered plastic. I had high hopes but after 2 6 hour flights, was sorry that I dragged it along. "

Great in theory, not so much in execution...
"Wanted to love it but didn't. It is clumsy to put on and doesn't support as much as I'd like without making it uncomfortably tight. It is also quite warm and a little bulky due to the support piece inside. The materials seemed cheap to me. Ultimately, I would not recommend to a friend."

Not COMFY!
"Everyone said they loved them. I ordered 2. One for self and one for a gift. They are cute and stylish, BUT, they just aren't comfy. I'm so disappointed. I feel I wasted my money. My husband & I had the same complaint. The 'support' is too tall. It sort of chokes you as you try and relax into it. I won't be using it and now have 2! eBags offered to set up a return for the items"

best design available
"I love the turtl. I've used every style of sleep pillow on the market but stick with this one and have used it for years. Most recently a 4 hour redeye to Boston, Freedom toured all day then Midsummer night disco without any fatigue! Use it with the REI sleep mask and a yoga nidra tape. Add a full day to any vacation. "

Still a little too short for someone with a longer neck.
"I was so hopeful that this would work for me. It does indeed choke you a little bit, depending on your neck length from what I could tell. My neck is fairly long, so My head was so angled over it, that the cloth was hard on my neck. I wanted this to work for me, but it didn't. I wish I could show a picture of how long my neck is, it's not crazy long, just about as long as your average model. "
